Today was beautiful. Thus a trip to the thrift store with my mom to turn into a "let's go to the pretty mountains" outing. I didn't really have a particular location in mind, so we just drove in the general direction of Chillwack Lake. As soon as we hit the Vedder River, I knew we'd found a good spot.
It's pretty easy to get down to the river bank and climb amongst the trapped logs. I'm impressed with my mom for being willing to go along with my whims and offering to hang onto my camera bag while I climb up log mountains.
Moral of the story: if the mountains are calling, always answer. We found ourselves in such a beautiful place as the result!
